Special Events

Sea Pines Country Club sponsors special events and programs throughout the year that always prove to be great fun and satisfaction for its members. Special committees such as the Clubhouse Committee and the Commemorative Committee give our members the chance to enjoy special events and commemorate family and friends through a gift-giving to the Club.

There is a 72-hour cancellation policy for all special events.
Tee It Up For The Troops
Sea Pines Country Club held its Sixth Annual Tee It Up For The Troops event Friday, September 25. Sea Pines Country Club members sponsor troops from Parris Island and the Beaufort Air Station for a great day of golf followed by dinner. Tee it up for the Troops, Inc. was created in 2005 to help support the fallen and disabled members of our Armed Forces, and their families. The NATIONAL DAY OF GOLF was subsequently formed and has since produced numerous golf outings throughout the country where the proceeds benefit veterans of all branches and conflicts. Through donations and hole sponsorships from the members in previous years, Sea Pines Country Club has donated over $50,000 to support the foundation.  Click here to view the 2015 Donors and Hole Sponsors.

Tee It Up For The Troops is my favorite event at Sea Pines Country Club.  The event makes me proud to be a member of the Club and it is an honor to host the military men and women who keep us safe.  -Nancy Eldridge

ODYSSEY: The Journey

By definition, the term odyssey means “a long wandering” or a “series of travels.: That was precisely what former SPCC Board Member Allan Miller had in mind when he helped launch this Club function in 2003. Based upon a similar program series at a club in Harbour Ridge, Florida, SPCC’s version offered four enormously diverse and successful programs in its first year: one each on sports, music, antiques and collectibles, and medicine. The Committee’s goal of providing an admittedly “wandering” but still stimulating educational odyssey was pretty rewarding.

 Special Programs

Commemorative Program

The Commemorative Committee was established in 2003 to develop, implement,  and govern a program whereby members could commemorate family and friends  through gift-giving at the Club. The Board of Directors recognized both a need to  accommodate members' requests to make these memorial donations and an opportunity to enhance the overall club experience for everyone by providing  items that would fill lasting needs at the Club.

Over the past years Club members have remembered and/or honored family and  friends with gifts to the Commemorative program. These gifts have varied from artwork in the Clubhouse to extensive landscaping on the golf course. The Commemorative Committee is extending this program in recognition of special events - for example, a personal accomplishment or family celebration. The  committee currently has a book on display in the Clubhouse listing all the gifts made and in whose memory or honor they were given, to ensure a lasting record.
