We strive every day to be the best in the private country club industry by providing first class facilities and services to our members and guests. We achieve this by operating with the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. This philosophy is carried out in all aspects of business.

From an anniversary party to a wedding reception, we can accommodate all types of gatherings. Our professional staff will treat your event with the reverence it deserves.

Attention to Details

We know that whether they are choosing the menu at the rehearsal dinner or tossing the bouquet at the reception, no two brides (or their mothers,) are exactly alike. So whether you simply need help finding a hotel for your guests or help planning your entire wedding, the Banquet Staff at Sea Pines Country Club welcomes the challenge of helping you create the day of your dreams!

That Special Time

A breakfast or brunch reception is nice following a morning wedding. You may choose to serve this buffet style or the guests may be seated at specified tables. Hot coffee and tea are a must, no matter what the menu selections you choose. Pastries and wedding cake should also be served. Serving your guests alcoholic beverages is optional and may include champagne, Mimosas, wine, Screwdrivers or Bloody Mary’s.

Luncheons generally follow a late morning or high noon ceremony and are served between 12 and 2 pm. Your luncheon may either be a sit down or buffet style. Our Events Coordinator will be glad to offer suggestions, according to your budget.

A dinner reception is usually started between 6pm and 9pm. Your guests are served at the table and usually, not always; this has a more formal feeling. This reception is usually preceded by a cocktail hour so that your guests have a chance to mingle before sitting down to dinner. The sit-down reception provides for a more organized event making it easier to capture the guest’s attention when the traditional ceremonies are performed, such as cutting the cake.

A buffet reception is one in which guests serve themselves. In this event guests may choose to sit at a table of their choice or seats may be assigned. For a large number of guests you may have two buffet tables situated at each end of the room.

Food Stations are another unique idea for your special event. You may choose to set these smaller buffet tables around the room or in different areas of the pool patio garden. Try a beautiful display of cheeses with breads and fresh fruits displayed in baskets, or an ice-carved clam shell filled with Jumbo Shrimp and crab legs. You may wish to add to this eating adventure a chef carving a roast, serving pasta specialties or a chicken crepe made right in front of the guest’s eyes.
