The Facility
Sea Pines Country Club has eight lighted courts, considered by many to be the best-maintained on the Island. Clay is the surface of choice at the Club. Meticulously groomed, carefully tended, it offers a surface ideally suited for the measured strokes of a strong core of players.
Instruction and Clinics
As might be expected from a country club with the name Sea Pines, the tennis program is superb. An extensive schedule of private and group lessons is offered, focusing on everything from stroke production and doubles strategy to teamwork and net play. Regular clinics, including Summer junior programs, are a frequent part of the routine, including appearances and instruction from ranking professionals.
The Spirit of Competition
The team activities never seem to end at Sea Pines Country Club. The annual Pro-Am Tournament, a full range of Club Championships, and the many social events and local club challenges are just a few of the scores of competitions scheduled throughout the year. Inter-club play against more than a dozen other Hilton Head Island clubs is used as a prelude to the USTA League Tennis Competitions at the Adult, Senior and Super Senior Levels.
Playing Harbour Town Racquet Club
The Harbour Town Racquet Club, just a few minutes away in the Harbour Town area of Sea Pines, is nationally ranked by Tennis Magazine. An extraordinary tennis facility, all Sea Pines Country Club members and their guests have access to the Harbour Town Racquet Club on a year round basis.
