Sea Pines Country Club Awarded Prestigious Distinguished Club Status
Elite Designation Accorded to the Top Private Clubs in America

(HILTON HEAD, S.C.) - Sea Pines Country Club – the lone private club within Sea Pines featuring golf, tennis, multiple pools and fitness – has been awarded the prestigious Distinguished Club award by BoardRoom magazine.
The Distinguished Clubs award program uses a proprietary rating system recognizing the facility, management and staff based on a top-tier member experience. Sea Pines Country Club operates at the highest standards by exceeding ratings for service, staff quality and club governance. Only 179 out of 3,400 private clubs in America have been awarded this status, and only five in the entire Hilton Head-Bluffton region.

Sea Pines Country Club recently completed a $2.7 million renovation of its facilities. It refreshed its Blue Heron Pub and Grille, offering updated interiors and a new eclectic menu, rivaling the island’s top restaurants. Additionally, an indoor and outdoor pool renovation was completed, which modernized the existing saline indoor pool, the 24-meter outdoor pool, outdoor deck and built a brand-new children’s splash pool.
“We’re thrilled to have earned this honor, a title accorded to only the top five percent of private clubs in America,” says Ames. “We’re looking forward to a fantastic year as we begin the second phase of restorations to further enhance our member’s experience.”
Phase two of the club’s renovation will include an upgrade and expansion of the club’s fitness center with new locker rooms and equipment to augment wellness-focused programming.
